To manage the overall authentication history of all the accounts logged in the system, click the the Authentication History icon icon.  The The page provides three controls:

  • Clear logs starting from <date> To <date>:  Clear the logs recorded in a certain period of time. Use the available text boxes or the calendar buttons to specify the interval's start and end date. The accepted date format is yyyy-mm-dd.
  • Clear logs older than <number> <period>:  Clear the logs older than the specified <number> of days/weeks/months/years. Use the drop-down list to select the <period>.

View sessions

In the Sessions the Sessions area, you have access to a list of all the accounts that logged in to the system.

The logs are added to the login history list based on the settings you have made in the the Log Messages on Level drop drop-down list from the the Unified Communications →  Monitoring →  System Authentication → Login → Login Preferences page page.

Search for a session

You can filter the list of existing sessions using the IP of the user:

  1. Enter the IP of the session in the text box located above the table.
  2. Click the the  Search button button.  The The system remembers the search criteria when a new search is performed and even after the user logs out.

Remove session

Please note that cannot that cannot delete your own sessions, but only those of the other users connected to the server.

  1. Select the session from the table and click the the Remove selected link link on top of the table.
  2. To finalize it, select the the Confirm removal checkbox checkbox and click click OK.  To To return to the previous page without removing the session, click click Cancel.

Check authentication history

To view the full authentication history of a specific account, select the username in the the Authentication History table table.  The The page provides three controls:

You can filter the list of authentication logs using the IP of the user:  

  1. Enter the IP of the session in the text box located above the table
  2. Click the the Search button button.  The The result will detail the authentication time, indicating whether it was successful or not, and detailing the login resource:  InterfaceInterface/Auth/Login,  SystemAPISystemAPI/Auth/Login, or Interfaceor Interface/Auth/Impersonate.  The The system remembers the search criteria when a new search is performed and even after the user logs out.
