This article explains how to use yum to update the operating system of the server where VoipNow is installed.

Step-by-step guide

You can update your system with yum without breaking VoipNow. However, we do not recommend using non-standard repositories such as DAG, Livna, ELRepo or Epel because the packages they contain may conflict with VoipNow.

To make a full update, take the following steps: 

STEP 1: Connect to your VoipNow server as root using a SSH client (e.g. Putty).

STEP 2: Run the following command:
