This articles explains the Google Sign-In settings you need to make in VoipNow in order to allow VoipNow and Hubgets users to sign in the web applications using their Google accounts.

Overview

Before learning how to set up Google Sign-In in VoipNow, you should know that:

  • Only invited users can sign up to Hubgets using their Google account. Once they sign up to Hubgets via Google Sign-in, they will be able to log in to VoipNow and Hubgets using their Google credentials.
  • Currently, new VoipNow users cannot sign up using their Google accounts. The same goes for old Voipnow users, who cannot log in using their Google accounts.

Step-by-step guide

To enable the Google Sign-In service in the VoipNow and Hubgets web applications, take the following steps:

STEP 1: First create a Google API Console project for your VoipNow/Hubgets web applications. If you don't know how to do that, follow the steps in this tutorial.

STEP 2: Then log in VoipNow and go to Unified Communications →  Zero Priority → Integration →  Google Login

STEP 3: Enter the credentials obtained in STEP 1 in the following fields:

  • Web application client ID
  • Web application client secret

STEP 4: Press OK when you're done.

At this point, invited users will be able to sign up to Hubgets and log in VoipNow and Hubgets web applications using their Google accounts.
