VoipNow is a business PBX system that can be deployed in single computer and distributed environment. This area details the hardware requirements for both.

This document contains the hardware requirements for VoipNow. These apply to both single computer and distributed deployments.

Hardware requirements are strongly related to the expected number of users and utilization scenarios, like number of concurrent calls, codec usage etc.

Requirements

Generally, hardware nodes should be deployed having these requirements in mind:

In case of virtualization, we highly recommend to not over-provision RAM and CPU and have at least 1/3 reservation.
