Overview

The The SIP Devices page page groups all the provisioned SIP devices available for the current service provider account. This equipment can be:

  • provisioned by the system administrator and assigned to one of the service provider's organization accounts and, optionally, to one of their users
  • provisioned by the service provider itself and assigned to its organizations organizations

All the options and the functionalities available in this page are described in the the Manage SIP Devices section section.

Note

If both the service provider's organization(s) and all associated user accounts have the Allow to provision devices permission set to to None, this section is not displayed and you are not be able to manage the organization's SIP devices. Please note that this rule applies even if the service provider is assigned provisioned SIP devices.

You can assign the new equipment only to one of the service provider's organizations and to its corresponding Phone terminal extensionscorresponding Phone terminal extensions, depending on the number of lines supported by the device.

You cannot assign an equipment to an organization if its its Allow to provision devices permission permission is set to Viewto View. At the same time, the user accounts under that organization cannot have the permission set to Modifyto Modify.

If the service provider has defined provisioning templates for its account, when you add a new SIP device, you are not able to use them. As a system administrator, you can only use your own templates.
