Set Integration Preferences ​
This page contains instructions on how to enable other modules or web services with VoipNow.
Overview ​
To set and customize integration preferences, go to Unified Communications in the side menu and click on the Zero Priority icon, under the Settings area. Open the Integration tab on the side menu and modify the settings related to web services designed to simplify user access and improve user experience.
Customize Integration Settings ​
To customize integration settings, follow the steps below.
Up next is the Google Login section, where you can define settings that will allow users to sign up in to the VoipNow/Hubgets web applications via their Google accounts.
WARNING
Currently, new VoipNow users cannot sign up using their Google accounts. The same goes for old VoipNow users, who cannot log in using their Google accounts.
To enable the Google Sign-In service, you need to create a Google API Console project for your VoipNow web applications. If you don't know how to do that, follow the steps in this tutorial. Paste the credentials assigned to your project in the fields below.
- Web application client ID
- Web application client secret
Please note that leaving these fields empty will not enable the Google Sign-In service, hence users will not be able to sign up in to the VoipNow web applications using their Google accounts.
If you want users to log in and sign up the VoipNow iOS application, you also need to fill in the Mobile application client ID field.
To enable this service, create a Google API Console project for your VoipNow iOS applications. If you don't know how to do that, follow the steps in this tutorial. Google API Console will automatically assign your application with a client ID, which you need to copy in the Mobile application client ID field.
WARNING
Please note that leaving this field empty will not enable the Google Sign-In service for VoipNow iOS application, hence users will not be able to sign up in to their mobile applications using their Google accounts.
Once you're done, click OK to save your preferences. To return to the previous page without committing any changes, click Cancel.
